The Isolaid Festival with Eumundi School of Rock kids will be live this Saturday July 25 at 4pm on Katie Noonan’s Instagram www.instagram.com/katie_noonan_music/
Eumundi School of Rock is a free music school based on Gubbi Gubbi country on the Sunshine Coast in Qld.
Katie Noonan said “Our aim is to provide free quality music education for young people in our area.”
“2020 is our 5th year and we have 23 kids aged grade 3-8 in our school and our brand new Imperial teenage Super band – a sextet of legends aged 13-17. We only play Aussie tunes and we pay our teachers professionally and put on an epic big rock concert – but the main aim is for young people to feel good, make friends and discover the magic of music.” she said.
The school costs 25K to run each year and the Isolaid gig is part of their fundraiser – you can donate here: www.gofundme.com/f/eumundi-school-of-rock-2020
You can also support The EUMUNDI School of Rock by purchasing tickets to the end of year DRIVE IN concert at the Eumundi Showgrounds (29 August) as part of the Horizon Festival.
