Eumundi is set to don it’s Christmas hat again this year as the town prepares for the popular Christmas Twilight Markets on Friday December 17th from 5-8:30pm.
Promising to be a night to remember, the markets are an event for the whole family. Offering artisan
and food stalls, live music, free kids entertainment, aerial workshop, laser show, fire twirling, a Santa Photo stall and much more.
A special addition to this year’s event is “A Serene Christmas” proudly presented by Kindred
Resonance. Kindred Resonance is a unique musical collaboration between two cousins, Classical
Cellist Jane Tallon and ambient Pianist Richard Goldsworthy. Jane studied cello in Croatia and has
worked as a soloist and chamber musician with various ensembles and orchestras throughout
Australia and overseas. Richard has composed and released 8 albums of original ambient solo piano and has been a regular performer at the Original Eumundi Markets since 2003.
Free twilight performances of Traditional Christmas Carols, gently re-imagined for Piano and Cello in an ambient, serene, and beautiful way will be held in the Eumundi CWA Hall at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm.
The Eumundi Christmas Twilight Markets draw crowds from across South East Queensland, and have become a yearly tradition for many families.
Local artisans are working hard in the lead up to the markets and look forward to showcasing their
work and talents providing something special to pop under the tree this year. This unique shopping
experience provides visitors a chance to support local and chat with the creative and friendly
stallholders.
The food stalls are always a great hit catering for every tastebud and the live music and roving
performers create a great festive and family fun experience.
