Wild HeART Student Art Prize Entries open NOW

If you enjoy art and nature this opportunity is for you!

Previously known as the Holmes Junior Art Prize, Queensland school aged students are encouraged to submit an artwork. This work should realistically portray an Australian animal or plant. Great prizes are on offer for the student and their school. Entries close 17 July 2022.

The Wild HeART Student Art Prize is generously supported by Friends of Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Garden, Friends Regional Gallery Caloundra Inc., Wildlife Preservation Society of Qld – Sunshine Coast & Hinterland Inc. and Qld Wildlife Artists Society Inc.

Age categories:

  • 8 years and under
  • 13 years and under
  • 18 years and under

Subject categories:

  • Australian flora including fungi
  • Australian fauna
  • Endangered Australian flora or fauna

The Wild HeART Student Art Prize is open to any Queensland school aged child 18 years and under, enrolled in Prep to Year 12.
